Our narrative is founded on a strong commitment to creativity and craftsmanship. We love creating and making. With expertise in building, renovating and interior design, we expanded into the cabin sector to combine our skills and create something unique together.
We met an amazing couple who developed an innovative steel walling system in the USA and on return to South Africa we started manufacturing and exporting these walls to this company in the USA.

Dreaming and planning followed and Wooncube was born. We have been enjoying the journey of creating Luxury Eco Cabins every since.

With the back bone of these walls we are capable of building in a whole new way that is unknown in South Africa, paired with the highest quality materials luxury Eco Cabins are coming to life.​ We are part of an amazing Team who all contributes to the success of the Wooncube brand and story.

Bennie Potgieter
Chief Executive Director
Provides overall leadership and direction to the company. 27 years experience in construction, specialising in marine & residential, Bennie aligns the company's strategy with the practical to achieve its vision and mission.

Bennie is an entrepreneur and loves connecting with people. He also enjoys the physical challenges of building and turning possibilities into reality.
​
Fun fact - Bennie represented 3 countries on the world stage for Underwater Hockey: South Africa, Netherlands and USA. It’s also through this crazy sport that he met Petronel.​
Petronel Potgieter
Director Design & Interior
​Overseeing daily operations with specific focus on company culture. With a degree in textile design and 19 years experience in clothing and interiors Petronel brings the design edge that makes each Wooncube unique.
​
​Petronel loves exploring the globe for beautiful finds. As an 8 year old her first business adventure was colouring bunnytail flowers and selling them to the local shops.
​Fun fact - Petronel met Bennie in his speedo and the rest is history. She captained the South African Ladies Team who won gold at the World Underwater Hockey Championship in 2016.​​
